World Relays 4x1500m Crash

Who says running isn’t a contact sport? Katie Mackey of the USA and Zoe Buckman of Australia collided during the first exchange of the women’s 4x1500m relay. Luckily, it appears that neither was seriously injured in the crash.

Er, was there no change-over etiquette? The 4 x 400 folks must have been laughing their heads off…..! But at least for once, the m-d runners get to earn relay bonuses! Equality….!
